Good evening.
My name is Valerie, but feel free to call me Val if you desire. I am a transfer student from Northwestern Michigan College which is located in the heart of Traverse City, Michigan. It gets cold up there much like here in Unity! However, it should be noted that I only lived in Michigan for fourteen months. Last March I returned to my homestate of Massachusetts, and I currently reside in a town called Chelmsford.
My major is Environmental Writing, and I am considering a minor in Zoology or Wildlife. Incorporating my two passions (writing and animals) as one is what makes up the whole of me, and thus is the primary contributor to why I decided to enroll at Unity College. In addition, I was drawn to the unique styles of teaching which occur at this college and the warm sense of community.
In my free time, I enjoy writing, painting, observing wildlife, taking long walks and socializing. Currently I am making an effort to participate in campus activities to form friendships and to keep me away from technology -- I need a break from it!

Thanks Valerie! This is perfect. I didn't know you were Environmental Writing. That's great. Have you read Kate's book yet or seen her blog? (http://outwithari.blogspot.com/)
ReplyDeleteYes Val, I have sold my jewlery before, never commercially, but privately. If you are interested in anything, please let me know; I don't have any samples with me, but I only live about 45 minutes away from the school.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the money right now to purchase anything. However, I'll keep your talent in mind for when I have money again. I'm due for jewelry.
ReplyDeleteNice title Valerie.
