should we pledge our allegiance to our flag?
The other day in class we talked about people that think we should not have to pledge our allegiance to our flag in class rooms or in other places. well I don't think that is right to say, if you think about what that stands for and what it means to our countries soldiers that are fighting for us right now what do you think they would say and how it would make them feel to no that people don't want to do something that means so much and stands for so much. I under stand that some people dont think they should say it beacuse they dont belive in God and thats fine if you dont want to say it dont even though I think you should, but it's not right to just get rid of it, it simpley means to much to this country.

I definatley agree with you Brad. I believe that since you are living in this country and people are taking their lives for you over seas. You should say it whether you don't say it with the God part or not.

ReplyDeleteI agree with what your saying and I feel like you go elaborate futher on your discussion. By that I mean that you did a great job on being brief..but maybe too brief. I also think that a picture of the flag would be a good "eye catcher." And remember about NOT having your title in all lower case words. Again I like that you added your opinion and maybe you could get someon elses opinion that believes it should not be said in school.

I agree I think we should keep it to, I just don't know if they should force people to say it in class, I personaly didn't mind and now I know all the words =0)
